A letter from our founders

One of the main reasons we built Nexus was to give ambitious people the same opportunities
we had early in our career, and better. We were trusted to own markets, build senior relationships and make decisions long before many people thought we were ready. We made plenty of mistakes along the way, but those experiences shaped us far more than any training course ever could.

Looking back, we owe a huge amount of our personal and professional growth to that ownership. That’s why it’s at the centre of everything we do today.

At Nexus, we believe exceptional recruiters are created by giving talented people the right market, the right environment and the right tools to succeed, then trusting them enough to figure things out. We’ll support you, stretch you and invest heavily in your development, but we won’t try to remove every obstacle. Growth comes from experience, and experience often comes from getting things wrong before getting them right.

Having both progressed quickly at a young age ourselves, we’re passionate about creating a business where career progression isn’t dictated by age, tenure or someone above you deciding you’re “ready.” There are no artificial ceilings here. Your progression is determined by your performance, your capability and mindset.
