The client
Our client is one of the world’s largest food and beverage manufacturers, operating across 120+ countries and built around three core business units.
One of those was in the middle of a major growth and investment programme, built around a network of nine manufacturing facilities across Europe. Several of those facilities were underperforming, running as low as 40–50% of capacity, putting the unit’s growth plans at risk. To turn performance around, the business needed to hire a wave of new leadership across the affected factories: not just factory directors, but the plant leadership, regional operations and engineering roles underneath them.
The Challenge
The search called for specialists who understood FMCG operations and supply chain in real depth, business unit’s food safety standards meant every candidate had to come from within the industry.
